Done-For-You PBN Building From a Team That Runs 5,000 Domains
Buying links from someone else's network is fast. Owning your own private blog network is a different proposition entirely. You control the anchor text. You control the link velocity. You control which pages get powered when. And when the asset appreciates in value over years, the upside stays with you.
The problem is building a real network takes about six months of learning expensive lessons if you're doing it yourself for the first time. Wrong domains, shared hosting footprints, thin content, bad anchor distribution on the first round of placements. Most first-time PBN builders lose two to three times more in wasted domain purchases and penalties than they would have paid to have it done properly.
Our PBN building service handles every step from domain sourcing through to handover. You walk away with a fully documented, live network that you own outright, with full credentials and training materials to run it going forward.
Pricing starts at $150 per domain for Tier 1 builds and runs to $300 per domain for the premium configuration. Ongoing maintenance is available at $30 per domain per month if you'd rather not manage the infrastructure yourself.
Who This Service Is For
Not everyone needs to own a PBN. If you're running one affiliate site and need 20 to 50 links per year, buying from an existing network costs less and achieves the same outcome. The maths on owning your network changes when:
At the point where you're placing 50 to 100 links per month across clients, owning the infrastructure is dramatically cheaper per link than buying externally. A 100-domain network costs $15,000 to $30,000 to build well. At $5 per external link, that's the cost of 3,000 to 6,000 links. If your agency places that volume annually, the network pays for itself in one year.
Bought links come with the seller's constraints on what they'll place and when. A network you own lets you drop a link to a specific page on a specific day at a specific anchor, which matters in competitive niches where timing a link push around a content launch or a ranking dip can make a measurable difference.
A niche-specific PBN, where every domain has genuine topical history in your target area, is a different quality of asset than a general authority network. Building 50 aged finance domains takes longer and costs more, but the topical relevance adds real weight to every link placed.
A well-documented, properly built private blog network is sellable. Buyers on Flippa and Empire Flippers look for operational PBNs with clean documentation. One client we built a 75-domain network for in 2022 sold it in early 2025 for $42,000. The build cost him around $19,000.
What the Build Includes
Every domain in a custom build goes through the same 15-point evaluation we use for our own network. Here's the full scope of what we build per domain.
We run a targeted search across NameJet, GoDaddy Auctions, SnapNames, DropCatch, Park.io, and direct broker channels for domains that fit your niche specifications. DA 25 minimum on Tier 1 builds, DA 40 minimum on Tier 2 premium builds. Every candidate gets screened for TF/CF ratio (above 0.4), anchor text profile, Wayback Machine history, and Moz spam score before we proceed.
We manage the auction or purchase process on your behalf and transfer the domain to a registrar of your choice, or manage it under our account with transfer to you at project completion. Acquisition cost is passed through at cost with no markup.
Every site goes on a unique C-class IP across a separate hosting provider from every other site in your network. Name servers are registered through different infrastructure on Premium tier builds. We don't cluster your network on one SeekaHost account and call it diverse. Full cPanel access is included on every site.
Let's Encrypt SSL provisioned on every domain. WordPress installed clean with a unique theme and plugin configuration per site. No shared theme templates across your network. Permalink structures and basic site architecture set up to look like a genuine blog in the target niche.
Two to three foundation posts per domain, written by human writers from our team, averaging 800 to 1,000 words each. Posts match the domain's historical topic from the Wayback Machine archive. We don't publish keto recipes on a home services domain. The content is original, passes Originality.ai checks, and includes natural outbound links to authoritative third-party sites.
Tier 2 builds include one contextual link placement per domain to your specified target URL, with an anchor from a natural distribution we build for your niche. The placement happens after content is live and indexed.
At project completion you receive a structured document containing every domain name, registrar login, hosting provider login, WordPress admin credentials, cPanel access details, and the metrics report for each domain. Everything in one place, formatted for easy handover to a VA or in-house team.
A recorded walkthrough video (typically 45 to 60 minutes) covering how to add new content, how to place links, how to monitor the network, and what to watch for in terms of maintenance. Designed for someone who understands SEO but hasn't run a PBN before.

Minimum build is 10 domains on any tier. Most clients start at 20 to 30 domains for a meaningful network.
π‘ Acquisition costs are additional.
Domain purchases pass through at cost. Tier 1 domains typically run $80 to $180 at acquisition. Tier 2 domains run $180 to $400. Tier 2 Premium domains run $300 to $800 and occasionally higher for exceptional inventory. We provide a realistic acquisition budget estimate before the build starts.
Typical total project cost examples:
20-domain Tier 1 build
$3,000 service fee
+ ~$2,000β$3,600 acquisition
Total: $5,000β$6,600
30-domain Tier 2 build
$6,750 service fee
+ ~$5,400β$12,000 acquisition
Total: $12,150β$18,750
50-domain Tier 2 Premium
$15,000 service fee
+ $15,000β$40,000 acquisition
Total: $30,000β$55,000
These ranges are wide because domain acquisition costs vary significantly based on niche availability and current auction prices. Finance and legal domains command premiums. Home services and lifestyle domains are more accessible.
Build Timeline
Builds run in batches of 10 domains over two to four weeks per batch, depending on domain availability in the target niche and current sourcing pipeline volume.
| Batch Size | Timeline |
|---|---|
| 10 domains | 2 to 3 weeks |
| 20 domains | 4 to 5 weeks |
| 30 domains | 6 to 7 weeks |
| 50+ domains | 8 to 14 weeks |
We don't batch all 50 domains live on the same day. A 50-domain network going live simultaneously is a velocity signal. We stagger site launches and initial link placements across the full build window.
Ongoing Maintenance
Once the network is live, three things need active management: hosting upkeep, content freshness, and link monitoring.
- Monthly content addition (one 600 to 800 word post per domain per quarter)
- Uptime monitoring and alert response
- Metrics review quarterly (DA, DR, TF) with flags on any domains showing decline
- Domain renewal management and alerts
- Replacement sourcing if any domain gets demoted or deindexed
Optional ad-on: new link placements from your network to your target sites, managed by our team at $3 per link for maintenance clients.
Most clients with a 20 to 30 domain network run maintenance themselves after the training handover. The maintenance package becomes more valuable at 50 domains and above, where the operational overhead outweighs the monthly cost.
Three Past Build Case Studies
40-domain finance niche network for a mortgage comparison site
Client wanted a network specifically in the UK personal finance space. We sourced 40 domains from auction marketplaces with prior use as financial news sites, comparison tools, and credit guidance blogs. Average acquisition cost was $340 per domain. Build tier was Tier 2 Premium. Total build time was 11 weeks. The client's primary target keyword for "best fixed rate mortgage UK" moved from position 24 to position 7 within five months of the network going live, with a controlled link velocity of 4 to 6 links per month.
25-domain local services network for an SEO agency
Agency client running 12 local service clients across plumbing, electrical, and HVAC. Built a 25-domain general home services network at Tier 2. Total project cost including acquisition: $11,400. The agency reports saving approximately $2,800 per month compared to what they were spending on external link purchases across the same client base. The network survived the March 2026 Spam Update with zero domain losses.
60-domain CBD and supplements network
One of our more complex builds due to niche sensitivity. CBD and supplements domains with clean content histories are harder to source because many prior operators in the space ran spam-heavy content. We screened 840 candidates to find 60 clean domains, which took 14 weeks from brief to full deployment. Build tier: Tier 2 Premium. Three domains were lost in the November 2024 Site Reputation Abuse crackdown; replacements were sourced and live within 19 days. The client now manages the network independently after the training handover.
DIY vs Done-For-You: An Honest Comparison
The common mistake I see from experienced SEOs who try to build their first PBN themselves is underestimating the sourcing grind. Evaluating domains sounds straightforward until you've spent 20 hours across a week on ExpiredDomains.net, checked 60 candidates in Ahrefs ($129 per month Lite) and Majestic ($49 per month Lite), run Wayback Machine history on each one, and come out with three domains worth buying.
At that rate, a 30-domain network takes roughly 200 hours of sourcing alone, before you touch hosting, content, or WordPress setup.
| Factor | DIY Approach | Done-For-You Build |
|---|---|---|
| Sourcing time | 5 to 8 hours per quality domain | Handled |
| Tool costs | Ahrefs $129/mo, Majestic $49/mo, Moz $99/mo | Included in service fee |
| Domain acquisition | Market rate plus learning curve losses | Market rate, passed through at cost |
| Hosting setup | Learning curve on footprint-free configuration | Handled, verified |
